Summer Camps are week-long adventures where students learn how to turn their creative energy into visual storytelling.
Summer Challenges are week-long challenges for older students, teaching skills and processes for creating professional art.
Summer Camps run for five consecutive days, Monday through Friday, and will teach age-appropriate art classes designed to spark creativity and engagement and give students a productive and fun way to learn new and useful art skills.
Each Camp will have a slightly different focus and will include such topics as Comic Book Creation, Manga Creation, Character Design, Creative Drawing, and more.
Enrollment will open for June sessions on May 6th. You can find a list of dates and times here. Please note, we have posted Camp weeks, and Flex weeks. Each camp has only ten spots. If our Camps fill up, we will add new Camps during the Flex weeks, as demand dictates. We still recommend signing up for the week or weeks that work best for you as soon as possible to ensure your student's spot.
If you wish to reserve a spot, please call us at 216-282-7483. If you get our voicemail, please leave your name and phone number and we will return your call as soon as we can.
There are two options for camp:
Classes only - 9am to 12pm (3 hours)
Classes and Study Hall - 9am to 4pm (7 hours)
If you wish to enroll in the Classes and Study Hall option, there will be an extra $100 fee for the week. Study Hall is not instructed, but there will be a staff member in the room to ensure student safety and provide help when needed. Students can use the time to work on any homework assignments or skills learned in class. There will be an hour for lunch from 12-1pm. Parents/Guardians will need to provide a pack lunch for students. With allergies and nutritional variations, we are not able to provide lunch, but we will provide a space for students to eat.
Summer Challenges run for five consecutive days, Monday through Friday, and will teach more challenging art classes designed for older students. Skills learned in these courses will help interested students create stronger art portfolios and give insight into the process of finding jobs in the art side of the entertainment industry.
Each Course will have a slightly different focus and will include such topics as Comic Book Creation, Manga Creation, Character Design, Creature Design, Anatomy, Figure Variation and more.
